| ► | Housing Starts Rise in November The annualized rate of housing starts across Canada rose by 9.4 percent in November to 254,058 units, from 232,245 units in October, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. reports. Urban starts were down 3.0 percent from a year earlier, with 21,870 units recorded compared to 22,501 units in November 2024. |

Gillfor and IKO Insulation announce National Partnership
Gillfor Distribution and IKO North America have announced the addition of the IKO Poly-ISO Insulation line to Gillfor’s insulation program. “While continuing to support the Atlas Insulation offering, this expanded relationship supports Gillfor Distribution’s commitment to the insulation category in Canada by adding IKO Ener-Air and IKO Enerfoil to its portfolio,” Gillfor said in a release. “Gillfor account managers will be contacting all of our LBM dealers over the next few weeks with special winter buy incentives on our Poly-ISO offerings.” |

| ► | Rona now offers multi-unit cabinet installation Through a new partnership with a national cabinet design and manufacturing company, RONA inc. says it can now provide design, manufacturing, and installation of kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities in multi-unit buildings across Canada. Working with Chagall, a millwork company with offices in Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary, RONA is offering its builder customers access to kitchen and bathroom cabinetry installations for commercial multi-unit projects. |
