The Atlantic Building Materials Show, one of the largest in its industry in Canada, is held each year in Moncton for building supply dealers only. [ more ]

Insurance
Offers programs to member-firm employees in life, accident, sickness, major hospital, drug, dental and dependents’ life. [ more ]

Education
Industry seminars and workshops in everything from sales to advertising, financial management and estimating... programs that are geared to the dealer demands. [ more ]

Representation
Provides input to all levels of government on issues of concern to the industry.

Surveys
Gathers information on industry ratios, costs, banking analysis, through regular member surveys; compiles the data and issues comprehensive reports to survey participants.

Communications
Publishes a quarterly magazine, annual directory and industry up-dates on a regular basis.

Financial Incentives
Offers a rebate on the second night of a two-night stay at the trade show. A wide variety of other financial incentives are available as member benefits.

Bursaries & Scholarships
  Member-firm employees and their dependents are eligible to apply for one of twelve $1,000 Bursaries or one of twelve $1,000 scholarships awarded annually by the association.  See Education Section for recent awards.

No Charge Meeting Rooms at ABSDA Member Building
ABSDA Member and Associate Member firms are welcome to utilize either of two meeting rooms  at the ABSDA Members Building in Dieppe, NB at no charge (certain restrictions apply). These can be reserved by contacting the ABSDA office.
